Compost is our bread and butter, we know the importance of having the right compost for every plant - we grow a few thousand every year. With this in mind we carry probably the most extensive range of compost you'll find anywhere. Naturally we have the usual multi-purpose composts from our two major manufacturers, J Arthur Bowers and Erin. We were one of the first centres to offer 3 bags for £10, and of course we still do. For those who understand the importance of using the right compost our range extends from all the John Innes range, to specialist, tree and shrub, container, moisture control, seed and potting, and aquatic composts. Then there's the specific composts for acid loving plants (ericaceous), orchids, tomatoes, vegetables, cacti, bulbs, bonsai and many more. And if there isn't a special compost for your particular plant, just ask one of many experts. From Buddleias to Bananas, we'll give you all the advice you need. We also offer a range of barks and mulches, many of which can be supplied in bulk bags (roughly one cubic metre). |
